About

Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹ thanks for being here. I'm Chandima (most people call me CK or Chan).

I'm a technologist and entrepreneur who spends a lot of time thinking about how organisations adapt, scale, and stay relevant as technology reshapes how work gets done. My interests sit at the intersection of systems, strategy, and execution โ€” using technology to create real value and support sustainable growth.

Over the years, I've contributed to scaling businesses, led digital transformation initiatives, and worked with global teams on growth and change challenges. I'm less interested in technology for its own sake, and more in how it affects incentives, decision-making, and outcomes.

I tend to thrive in messy environments where clarity matters, trust is earned, and adaptability beats rigid planning. I care deeply about building cross-functional teams that are aligned around purpose, empowered to act, and accountable for results. Continuous learning and honest communication aren't values to me โ€” they're operating requirements.

I'm also an endurance running coach โ€” Athletics NZ accredited, based in Wellington. I coach a group of trail and road runners, and I care about the craft of coaching as much as I care about the craft of building technology.

This blog is a place where I explore ideas, experiences, and patterns that have shaped how I think about technology, leadership, and systems over time.
