SQL Database Guide for SharePoint deployments

Bill Baer has just released a document on what and how you can manage and optimize your SharePoint databases. The guide “Database Maintenance for Microsoft® SharePoint® Products and Technologies” (MS WORD) can be downloaded from TechNet.

The document outlines the following topics and is highly recommended for all administrators and DBA’s who need to maintain a SQL server farm for SharePoint.
